The mission of Central Nebraska Council on Alcoholism
is to increase the awareness of the harmful effects of
alcohol, tobacco, other drugs and addictions together
with there related problems. CNCA seeks to foster the
development of healthy lifestyles within individuals,
families and communities and to serve as catalysts in
the promotion of a shared vision of a healthier world.
Programs:
Bookstore; Lending Library (inclusive of books, audio
and video tapes); Problem Identification and Referral;
Youth Prevention Programs; Juvenile Diversion Programs;
Public Information Programs; Alcohol and Drug Assessment;
Technical Assistance to Professionals; Driving Under the
Influence Education; Underage Drinking Prevention; Recovery
Enhancement
All services are available to the following counties in
central Nebraska: Blaine, Buffalo, Custer, Garfield, Greeley,
Hall, Howard, Loup, Merrick, Sherman, Valley, and Wheeler.
