Services
The Lutheran Immigration Services program offers affordable immigration legal services to reunite families and provide assistance on the long pathway towards U.S. Citizenships.

• Form preparation, translation, and immigration legal services to immigrants and refugees / Preparación de forma, traducción, y servicios legales de inmagración a inmigrantees y refugiados

• Services in Spanish and English / Servicios en español y inglés

Utilizing non-attorneys who are trained and accredited by the Board of Immigration Appeals, Lutheran Immigration Services of Nebraska (LIS-N) provides low-cost immigration legalization assistance to low-income immigrants. LIS-N focuses on assisting families in the process of re-uniting.

Program planners educate immigrants on topics including laws and immigration processes they must abide by, as well as available community services. Program planners also raise public awareness of the hurdles immigrants face and the benefits of having immigrants in the community.
